    Finance

    1997 has been the year when the Trust has finally been able to claw its way out of its overdraft, and to release its guarantors. As we no longer have an overdraft facility, money is rather tight at the moment, and we are therefore particularly grateful for the support that the Friends give us. We would especially like to thank those people who have covenanted their subscriptions; this has in effect guaranteed a substantial part of our income, and enabled us to continue our research.
